This was our first Christmas book that we have read this season. It's a new one for us to read. Cassie absolutely loved this silly book. The illustrations in this book are colorful and you can see so much is happening on every single page. It's also fun to try to find the gingerbread men on the pages. The story was extremely easy to read when read aloud. Cassie is still a little young for reading the story on her own. But my older kids would have no problem with it. This book would be perfect to create off the pages in the classroom or even at home. Make some cookies then distract the kids enough for to hide throughout the house or throughout house. In school, you can have kids solve math problems or answer riddles as well to find the Gingerbread Men. It would be so much fun to get the wiggles out but also act out the story.
