Book Review: Mortimer's Christmas Manger by Karma Wilson

Ahh...we are now in the Christmas season. Which means it's now time for Christmas books for our house. I love reading Christmas books to my kids and "Mortimer's Christmas Manger" by Karma Wilson was our first book of the season. In this book Mortimer is unhappy in his cramped, cold hole. He decides to move into a nativity scene. It's the perfect home for him and yet he finds out who truly belongs in the nativity.

This book is so cute as you learn about Mortimer. You see Christmas as the view of the mouse as he finds out and watches what Christmas is all about. My kids really enjoyed how silly the mouse was throughout the book. They giggled each time, Mortimer, moved the pieces out of the nativity. They really enjoyed the illustrations that Jane Chapman created. The colors are so amazing throughout the story. I recommend you checking out this amazing book.
