Book Review: It's Christmas, David! by David Shannon

We love books by David Shannon especially the ones about himself growing up. So when I saw there was a Christmas book we had to grab it and read it for the Christmas seasons. This book is called, "It's Christmas, David!" by David Shannon is about all the things David does to destroy Christmas. Will be be on the naughty list and receive coal or will he be on the good list and receive his toy that he wants.

My kids giggled throughout this book and loved the fact that on one page David was naked. The illustrations of this book really create the story as there is such few words on every page. David Shannon really knows what kids want to see and that is pictures that explain the story. My older kids have started to read it by themselves. I really liked how they showed what can happen on each page by a child (not naming names) during Christmas time. This is a book for sure to read this season.
