Clifford's Halloween by Norman Bridwell

Emily Elizabeth and Clifford are ready for the spookiest day of the year! They make the most of their Halloween: bobbing for apples, listening to ghost stories, and trick-or-treating. But when it's time to dress up, there are too many costumes to choose from! Zebra, Witch, Knight -what should Clifford be? "Clifford's Halloween" by Norman Bridwell was published in October 1966. This book is apart of the Clifford the Big Red Dog series.

I grew up on Clifford books and tv show. I have always wanted a kid to enjoy reading the stories of the big red dog. Since the three oldest are not really into books (yet) Cassie and I read this together. Cassie found out about Clifford though the new movie that just came out not too long ago. So of course we had to get some Clifford books and read what he is all about. Halloween is so hard to find costumes and sometimes it just happen to find a costume you really don't want to be but do anyways. Anyways this book is really cute and really touches on Halloween. The illustrations are amazing as always Norman Bridwell has always done a great job with them. I high recommend checking out this Halloween tale.
