Book Review: Fancy Nancy: Fanciest Doll in the Universe by Jane O'Connor

Fancy Nancy is back in "Fancy Nancy: Fanciest Doll in he Universe" by Jane O'Connor. Fancy Nancy's sister, JoJo, can really be a pest sometimes . . . like when she put Easter-egg dye in the kiddie pool and dunked Frenchy in it! But this time she's done something really bad, and Nancy is livid - - that's fancy for tres angry and upset. JoJo drew a tatoo on Nancy's precious doll, Marabelle Lavinia Chandelier! Even worse, it's in permanent marker. That means it will never come out! When Mom suggests a fancy doll party to make Nancy feel better, Nancy is excited to accept. But what if the doll drama isn't over?

We sure do love Fancy Nancy/Nancy Clancy in our house. She is such a fun girl to follow around in the stories. In this book it was not disappointing. Nancy learns a hard lesson about how her little sibling who is making mistakes. She learns that things are not as bad as they seem and not the end of the world. My daughter thought this book was a hoot. She laughed a ton about the tattoo on the baby doll. We loved the illustrations by Robin Glasser did in this book. How there was some very detail drawings through out the book. It's a book we recommend.
