Book Review: Uninvited by Sophie Jordan

Sophie Jordan grew up in Texas hill county where she wove fantasies of dragons, warriors, and princesses. She was a high school English teacher and was also the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical romances. She now lives in Houston with her family.

In Uninvited by Sophie Jordan, you meet the main character Davy Hamilton. Davy test come back positive for Homicidal Tendency Syndrome which in other words is the kill gene. She loses everything she holds dear to her. Her boyfriend ditches her, her parents are scared of her, and she won't be attending Julliard either. But all in all she doesn't feel different but genes don't lie. One day she will kill someone. Only Sean, a fellow HTS carrier, can help her with her new life. She wants to trust him but he is just as deadly.

I actually was really skeptic about this story from the very beginning, but I decided the cover was really neat and it really drew me into reading this. I am so glad that I did read it because this book was an AMAZING read. I loved how the characters just pull you to want to protect them. Also that it makes you wonder if this could ever happen and how would you feel to be judged so quickly. This is an amazing book and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
