Book Review: The Night Before Easter by Natasha Wing

When Natasha Wing was a little girl she wanted to be a teacher. Just like most little girls she lined up her stuffed animals and would teach them the alphabet and how to count. In High School she wanted to be a tennis player. Then in college she thought that digging dinosaur bones would be a great job. When after college she started to work at her own small public relations agency that she decided she really wanted to write children's books. She sold her first manuscript Hippity Hop, Frog on Top in 1992. She enjoys being her own boss and coming up with ideas on her own is why she decided to keep writing.
The Night Before Easter by Natasha Wing is about the Easter Bunny in a delightful spin on Clement C. Moore's beloved poem. It will sure send families hoping to the bookstore for an Easter treat.
My family really enjoys the Twas the Night books by many authors. Natasha Wing did not leave us hanging with this take on the books for Easter. You get to watch the Easter Bunny hide the eggs around the house while there may or may not be a child peeking. We loved the illustrations of this book and how simple they are yet detailed. The characters are so much fun and how the Easter Bunny plans for Easter. It's a great book and wonderful to read the night before Easter.
